She charges $100 USD per hour, we're okay with covering up to about $300 so it depends on what she proposes. Hopefully she doesn't have some 10-hour minimum rate or something crazy.
You walk away if she states she has that kind of minimum. That’s something they’d never charge a Croatian for and I’m sure she quoted you $100 an hour knowing you were a foreigner. Also: keep the ad up. With the legal system at a logjam due to the strike, there should be no shortage of professionals willing to do this.
With that said, also keep in mind the scope of what we are doing. I fiddled round that site and it appeared that if you had Croatian ID, health cards, etc, you could qualify for login credentials. If she gets too cute with the price, ask her what the price is for her to download the docs and send them in the original Croatian. We can translate them via Google or other downloadable apps and did a fine enough job with the Ipsilon Media docs.
The original filing by Karlo is probably something we can do without. Lloyd stated somewhere that the translation costs were “eye-watering” and we already know what he is accusing people of. I’m more interested in the quack legal theories of James Lloyd Evans. Definitely get his filings as well as anything issued by the court.
Don’t know if you ever had a back and forth with a Cedarite, but they argue like JWs when it comes to Jabba the Hutt. They have a pre-conceived idea that you are out to slander their leader and stumble them into withdrawing their support. You can get the fucking documents translated by Dijana and they’d immediately claim she wasn’t an unbiased source and dismiss it outright as a forgery out of spite against him.

Lady C and JT video is now at 10,321k views...And they posted that video just 15 hrs ago...
So we have this bizarre scenario of the highest paid exJW "activist" by far being a middle of the pack guy who gets less views than the animated cats guy (Wally), two people he calls "crazies" (Mike and Kim), Critical Thinkers, Truth Hurts, etc. Even exJW Caleb and altwordly are either matching his views or beating them.
This gives you an idea as to why his begging bounce was so unsustainable. It's based on a product that doesn't really exist anymore. He's become even more irrelevant since then and now resorts to making penguin videos that he thinks are great ways to diversify his content.
His base is drying up. If he were a 70s rock star, this is his "Mr Roboto" phase. Next up: His bassist will quit, the drummer enters rehab, he releases a widely panned solo concept album debut that doesn't sell, and a planned variety show with clowns, jugglers and penguin visitors will be cancelled after one season.

Am I reading that right? In 2022, his company had income of 82,127.55 Euro, but an operating loss of 27,560.69 Euro? So his expenses for the year were 109,688.24 Euro, or around $115,556.56?
Funny how that works. He’s run 4 “companies” - JLE Publishing, Origen (with his dad in Wilmslow), JLE Translation, and now Ipsilon Media. So he knows all the accounting tricks and how to avoid tax burdens. The trick is draining the company accounts so there is no burden whatsoever. Then he pays himself a wage he finds lucrative and also the “owner’s wage” which he let slip during the begging video.
People do this all the time, so I am not picking on him in particular for this practice. But when he releases a manipulative video where he says he can’t make payroll, it’s so disingenuous. All he had to do was reduce his wage or his “owner’s wage” in order to make payroll, but instead he goes full Ray Liotta on Goodfellas:
”Fuck you, pay me”
No accountability for the fact he ruined his brand. Patrons are compensating him what what he thinks he’s worth and that’s the end of it.

Novosel compiled the filing and dated it 29 April 2022, but the court recorded it on 2 May 2022. There have been several submissions, two of which were by Lloyd himself. If you can find any of those submissions from Jabba the Hutt and the decision on 14 July 2023, they will be worth their weight in gold. Pure comedic value, even better than his standup routine.

PS - Very interesting that Karlo Novosel filed the case and made just one submission, with no further submissions after last July. The evidence would seem to indicate that Karlo Novosel is no longer representing him.

So LE reposts a tweet from JWWatch as evidence of the "amazing" feedback he's getting.
The writing style on the JWWatch tweet is vintage Lloyd, e.g. continued usage of the word "team" and the repeated phrases of "we've been getting amazing feedback" and "please email a brief summary to..." These terms and phraseology has been utlised by him since he was posting here. Even when it was only him and John Hoyle as webmaster during the early days of the survey, it was always "us", "we" and "our team". Carefully crafted words designed to show that his work was so great that he needed a "team" to make it a reality.
So he tweeted from JW Watch so he could Quote tweet as himself. If there were any doubt as to whom the author was, check the time stamps of both tweets. 3 minutes apart.
Many patrons are donating because they felt sorry for him in the begging video, or because they forgot to refresh their subscription preferences in the last couple of years.
I believe this too. A healthy channel with a lot of energy and buzz about it would have taken that boost and expanded upon it in terms of Patrons and views. That his support has been steadily decreasing is testament to the fact people were manipulated with these sob stories of defamation and laying off Dijana. Most of the comments were to the tune of "please don't leave we need you!". When it's become clear he's not leaving, and despite the boost, is matching either the same output or less than he has with 386 patrons, the urgency fades. People lose interest. Sure, he can try begging again but it will be mostly to the same audience.
That trick tends to only work once, and with each successive attempt at threatening to leave the response gets weaker. He's also lost a talking point he used on the last video - the one of defamation, how his lawyers are working on it, and it will take years for "justice".

Honestly I think he'll need to gauge as to whether or not this is going to provide a retirement for him. That's probably going to be the deciding factor. To do so, he needs a bigger fanbase, renewed media contacts and for all this chatter about misuse of funds, bullying, and Thai prostitutes to cease.
